R Music Studio is a music studio business begun by Jonathan Reger in 2008. The studio is located in a quiet, rural setting in Sachse, Texas (near Dallas).
Jonathan Reger has been playing the guitar since about 1978 and has been teaching guitar since about 1995. Over that time, he has had hundreds of students, both in private lessons as well as in classes given through both the Garland and Sachse Parks & Recreation Departments.
R Music Studio has provided on-location recordings for many different groups and performances, including school choirs, school orchestras, church cantatas and piano recitals.
R Music Studio also provides DJ services for birthday parties, holiday parties and school parties & dances.
In the past, Jonathan Reger has lead a band, Crossfire, where he played guitar, banjo, and mandolin, as well as provided vocals. Also, he has been a weekly performer at the Potbelly restaurant in Firewheel Town Center in Garland, TX.
Currently, as of March 2010, he leads the youth band at Buckingham United Methodist Church. This group includes vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, and keyboard.
